Location

Situated in a peaceful location on the outskirts of the village surrounded by the beautiful Suffolk countryside in the heart of the Dedham Vale AONB we are ideally located for people visiting Clare, Cavendish, Long Melford,  Lavenham, Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds. Along with easy access to Constable country and the coast. With Ipswich, Felixstowe, Colchester, Cambridge and Newmarket all within 1 hours drive.


We are also ideally located for people seeking accommodation when attending weddings at Boxted Hall, Melford Hall, Kentwell Hall, Alpheton Barns & Moreves Barn.

Accommodation


The house itself is grade II listed, parts of which date back to 1510 with 19th Century additions including large sash windows in some of the bedrooms. Off road parking for all our guests is available at the front of the house. We can also offer secure under cover storage for bicycles.



The guest accommodation is located in it's own self contained part of the house with it's own front door, to which our guests have a key to come and go as they please.


Sorry we do not accept children or pets.

Our Rooms


All our rooms have a TV, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer along with ample storage, hanging space and double showers.A variety of rooms are available including a 4 poster room, most having kIng size beds.


Breakfast consists of a breakfast basket in the room. Which includes fruit juice, porridge, breakfast bar and piece of fruit.

Tariffs & Booking


Prices range from £65 per room per night (max 2 adults). Our prices include a discount for booking direct.


The full cost of your stay is required to secure your booking (non-refundable) and can be paid over the phone with a credit/debit card.


Check-in 4pm - 8pm          - Early check in from 2pm available at an additional cost of £10 per room.

                                                       - Super early check in from 12pm available at an additional cost of £20 per room.


Checkout by 10am.              - Late check out until 12pm available at an additional cost of £10 per room.
